Thermal imaging has been available since the 1920s, but over the past 50 years, Thermography has grown in popularity and has been used in a variety of industries. For example, firefighters use this technology to find people through billowing smoke. It can also be used to maintain systems within a building. Individuals use thermal images to find issues with heating and air conditioning systems, locate overheating mechanical equipment, identify failing electrical components, and much more.

Using Thermal Imaging In Home Inspection

At its roots, infrared cameras are rather simple. They show nothing more or less than differences in temperatures. Everything in your home radiates heat. With the infrared cameras, I am able to detect this heat and attempt to interpret that information to better help you.
